3-Major Keys to a successful Google Business Profile
1) The verification method used. We have tried numerous methods to verify Google Business pages and have hands down found our method to be the very best. Our method gets your GMB listed quickly without the need for postcards or video verifications and comes with an extremely low suspension rate.
2) The Pre-Verification Process. The information that you give to Google to get your profile set up such as: Company Name, Address, Phone, Email Address, and others can help keep your Google profile live, or if done wrong, can get your profile suspended rather quickly.
3) The Post-Verification Process. How you move forward with your Google business page after it is verified can also play a large role in it getting suspended if done wrong, or staying live for a long time, if done right.
The Pre-Verification Process
Company Names – Using what the industry calls “Spammy Names” like using the “City” and “industry” in the company name is a red flag for Google. (For example, “Chicago Plumbing”) Although we have some success with this, you must understand it is risky, and comes with a higher likelihood of suspension. Also, if your current listing has already been suspended and you are coming to us to get it set up again, we suggest changing your company name even if it is just slightly.
Company Address – Unless your company has an actual physical location you should find a business address in the city that is not already affiliated with another Google Business Profile. To test this out, just type an address into a Google Search and see if there are any Google Business pages already affiliated with it. This can sometimes take some time, but it is usually worth the work. Let us know if you need help with this as we have some tips and tricks.
Company Phone Number - Unless this is an actual business phone number, we strongly suggest that you use a new phone number that has not already been part of a previous Google Business Profile.
Company Website – Best practice is for every Google business page to be affiliated with a website, social media, and be in some directories (ie… Yelp, Manta, Yellow Pages, Brownbook, Merchant Circle). Google checks to see if your company has an internet presence.
Ownership Email – Best practice is to have a corporate email address. There is typically a monthly or annual fee for this, and usually your website platform or internet service provider can provide this to you. An example would be: [email protected] . This checks another box with Google that you are a legitimate company and lowers the risk of suspension.
Accurate Information – Make sure the information you provide to us is accurate. Having to make a correction to something major like company name, address, phone, etc… is a big red flag for Google and an almost guaranteed suspension.
The Post Verification Process
Do not do anything to the new Google Listing for at least 2 weeks!
You will notice that a few days after the listing gets verified it will show up in the Google Business search rankings. After the two weeks, we suggest that you slowly trickle in about 3-5 reviews for the listing. (we can help you with this if you need it). Now after 3-4 weeks have gone by, you can now go in and trick out your Google Profile. You can add photos, Logo, a list of your services, and respond to your reviews. If you did everything right, your Google Business Page should stay live and continue to rank higher.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Our fee is $400 per GMB listing. We get paid only after listing is live on Google Maps.
Q: How long does it take to get a GMB live on Google?
A: We have a quick verification method and typically will have the listing live on Google in 24-48 hours.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept most major credit cards as well as PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, and Venmo.
Q: Do you offer any type of guarantee against Google suspending the listing?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot. We do, however, constantly test our verification methods to ensure our clients have the best opportunity for success. We have found that those people who follow our pre and post verification guidelines will experience a significantly lower suspension percentage.
Q: Where are you located? What are your hours? How do we contact you?
A: We are a Digital Marketing Agency located in Michigan. Our general business hours are M-F 9am – 6 pm with some weekend availability. This GMB verification program is just one of the many departments in our marketing agency. Our preferred communication process is email: [email protected] or on Facebook Messenger.
Q: What type of Google Verifications do you do?
A: We only do what is called Full Verifications which has the companies physical address attached to it. We have found that this type of verification will rank better than just a service-related listing. At this time, we only offer Google Verifications for the U.S.A.
Q: What happens if the listing is live, and I do not pay the fee?
A: You will not receive ownership of the GMB listing until you make payment. We expect payment for our services immediately once verified on Google Maps that the listing is live. If payment is not received, we will take the listing down, and you will be banned from working with us in the future.
